Description

The University of Oklahoma (OU) is offering an exciting, fully funded Ph.D. position within the School of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (AME). This opportunity allows the successful candidate to join Dr. Yanqing Su’s dedicated research group. Students will focus on innovative projects centered around machine learning, signal processing, and scientific data analytics. These research projects will directly apply to both biological and engineering systems. The position is flexible, welcoming students to start in the Fall or Spring of 2027, or Fall 2027.

Funding Coverage

This Ph.D. position provides full funding for the selected student.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Applicants must be highly motivated to pursue advanced research in machine learning, signal processing, and scientific data analytics.
• Candidates must review and meet the standard Ph.D. admission requirements for the AME School.
• International applicants must submit valid TOEFL or IELTS English proficiency scores, if applicable to their enrollment status.
• Applicants are encouraged to include GRE scores if they are available.
