Based at the Hennepin Healthcare Research Institute (HHRI), this lab works closely with the University of Minnesota on cutting-edge projects. Their mission is to identify risk factors early and design strategies that preserve cognitive function for life. A central focus of the research is to understand and reduce disparities in access to neurological care. Responsibilities

Position Overview

Qualification

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for this fellowship will hold a PhD or MD/PhD in neurology, epidemiology, neuroscience, public health, or a closely related discipline. They should bring a strong academic foundation paired with hands-on expertise in quantitative research and data analysis. Proficiency in biostatistics and familiarity with clinical neurology will be highly valued in this role. A proven track record of peer-reviewed publications will demonstrate their ability to conduct and disseminate impactful research. They will possess advanced analytical skills to work with complex datasets and draw meaningful insights. A commitment to evidence-based practice and innovation in the field of preventive neurology is essential. Visa Information:

This role is not eligible for J-1 visa sponsorship. Applicants currently engaged in Optional Practical Training (OPT) are strongly encouraged to apply. For exceptional candidates already living in the United States, H1B sponsorship may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
