Description

Join our innovative team in the School of Computing at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as we embark on an exciting project leveraging RFID/NFC technologies for Internet of Everything and Digital Twin applications. We are seeking a dedicated PhD student to contribute to this cutting-edge research area.

Research Focus: Engage in groundbreaking research using Software-Defined Radios (SDR) and Mixed Reality (MR) technologies. You will have the opportunity to work on multidisciplinary projects, gaining hands-on experience in wireless communication, networking, and wireless sensing.

Funding and Resources: This position comes with a competitive funding package, including tuition assistance, a stipend, and access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.


Qualification

Qualifications: Related background in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering. A strong academic record and a keen interest in wireless technologies, RFID/NFC, and software-defined radio.
Prior experience or a strong willingness to learn software development, particularly in Python, and an interest in mixed reality technologies.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
