Description

This MS-level assistantship at the University of Illinois Springfield offers students the chance to apply Geographic Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI) to critical ecological research and environmental monitoring projects.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Background: A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Conservation, or Computer Science.
  • Academic Excellence: A proven track record of high academic performance.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and statistics is essential.
  • Soft Skills: Strong quantitative abilities, excellent writing skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform field work for extended periods.
