Responsibilities
Position Overview
The fellowship provides a platform to conduct cutting-edge research in nuclear structure and experimental physics. The appointed researcher will be engaged in the following activities:
- Experimental Investigations: Advanced experiments on nuclear moments will be conducted using heavy-ion accelerators and international rare isotope facilities, allowing for high-precision studies of nuclear properties.
- Collaborative Research: Work will be performed alongside leading experts, including Professor Andrew Stuchbery, Dr. Greg Lane, Dr. Tibor Kibédi, and Dr. AJ Mitchell, promoting interdisciplinary learning and knowledge exchange.
- Team Projects: Participation in ongoing nuclear structure projects alongside PhD candidates and undergraduate researchers will foster mentorship and collaborative problem-solving.

Remuneration and Appointment

- Salary Range: AUD 87,135 – 134,507 per annum, plus 17% superannuation.
