• Nationality (Third-Country Requirement): Applicants must hold citizenship from a country classified as a “Third Country,” meaning a nation outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), and Switzerland. This scholarship is specifically intended to attract talented students from outside Europe and is not open to EU/EEA or Swiss nationals, regardless of their place of residence.
• Admission to a Master’s Programme: Applicants must be applying for admission to a full-time Master’s degree programme at the University of Luxembourg. The scholarship is only awarded to candidates who are formally admitted to an eligible Master’s program; applying for the scholarship alone without a corresponding academic application is not sufficient.
• Outstanding Academic Performance:
  Applicants must demonstrate a strong academic track record in their undergraduate studies. This typically includes high grades, a competitive GPA, academic honors, or evidence of being among the top performers in their cohort. The selection committee places significant emphasis on academic excellence as an indicator of future success at the Master’s level.
• Merit-Based Selection: The scholarship is awarded strictly on a merit basis. Applicants are assessed holistically, taking into account academic results, the relevance of previous studies to the chosen Master’s program, and overall academic potential. Financial need is not the primary selection criterion.
• Exclusion from Luxembourg State Financial Aid (CEDIES): Applicants must not be eligible for Luxembourg’s national student financial aid scheme (CEDIES). This ensures that the scholarship supports students who do not already qualify for public financial assistance within Luxembourg.
• No Prior Benefit from the Scholarship: Applicants must not have previously received the Guillaume Dupaix International Master’s Scholarship. The award is intended to support new incoming students and cannot be renewed or granted to former recipients.

Application Procedure

• Submit the Scholarship Application Separately: After completing your programme application, you must apply separately for the Guillaume Dupaix Scholarship.
