The Schwarzman Scholars program offers an exceptional opportunity for future global leaders to pursue a fully-funded, one-year Master's degree in Global Affairs at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. The program is designed to deepen leadership skills, promote cultural understanding, and drive positive global change. All application materials must be completed in English and submitted electronically through the official online portal. Materials sent via email or traditional mail will not be accepted. The application deadline for the 2025 intake is September 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), and late submissions will not be considered under any circumstances.
Application process:
Applicants are required to submit several key documents. These include a Leadership Essay of up to 750 words, a Statement of Purpose limited to 500 words, and two Short Answer Responses, each not exceeding 100 words. In addition, candidates must provide three letters of recommendation: one from an academic professor familiar with their academic work, one focused on their leadership abilities with specific examples, and a third offering broader insight into their leadership potential or academic excellence. A current resume or curriculum vitae (CV), limited to two pages, must also be submitted. Official academic transcripts from all degree-granting institutions are mandatory. Although not required, applicants are highly encouraged to submit a one-minute video introduction; those unable to do so must provide a brief written explanation.

Eligibility & Selection process:

Must be 18-28 years of age.
