MTCP Scholarship 2025

Description

The MTCP Scholarship is sponsored by the Malaysian government and dedicated to international students from developing countries to pursue their postgraduate studies in Malaysia, whilst at the same time acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills that could contribute to the development of their country. The duration of the award is between 24 to 36 months for the Master's Degree Programme.

Eligibility

The MTCP Scholarship is open to international students from MTCP-recipient countries who demonstrate strong academic and leadership potential. Applicants must not be older than 45 years at the time of application, ensuring opportunities are targeted toward emerging professionals and future leaders. A key academic requirement is a minimum of Second Class Upper (Honours) or a CGPA of at least 3.00 at the undergraduate level. This ensures that candidates possess a solid academic foundation suitable for advanced study. English language requirements

To be eligible, applicants must meet one of the specified English language proficiency standards. Another acceptable criterion is having completed a previous degree where English was the primary medium of instruction.
